Single-wall and double-wall paper cups for coffee shops and take-out
Direct Eco Green produces two paper cup constructions so you can match insulation to the drink. Side seams and bottoms are heat-sealed against leaks during delivery.
- Single wall (SW) — light and economical, for cold drinks and for hot drinks consumed quickly or served with a cardboard sleeve.
- Double wall (DW) — two layers of board trap an insulating layer of air, so hot coffee, tea and hot chocolate stay hot while the outside stays comfortable to hold, without a separate sleeve.
Dense board, up to 280 g/m², combined with a 15 to 18 g PE coating keeps the cup rigid; the factory states that the cups do not soften even after several hours of contact with liquid.

Barrier coating, PFAS and end of life
The liquid barrier on Direct Eco Green paper cups comes from a thin PE film, not from fluorinated (PFAS) treatments. Intentionally added PFAS are banned in food packaging under state PFAS laws in New York, California, Washington, Vermont, Colorado, Connecticut, Maryland, Minnesota, Rhode Island and Hawaii; ask for the factory's PFAS declaration with your quote.
Be precise about end of life. PE-coated paperboard cups are accepted in some recycling programs; check locally before printing a recyclable claim, since California SB 343 limits the chasing-arrows symbol and "recyclable" claims to materials that meet state criteria. PE-coated cups are not compostable. The factory sheet also lists kraft + PLA lined cups; PLA-lined paper is not curbside recyclable in most US programs and should only be called compostable with an ASTM D6868 certificate. Paperboard can be supplied FSC-certified under Direct Eco Green's license FSC C204557.
Compliance for the US and Canada
Paper cups are outside Canada's Single-use Plastics Prohibition Regulations, which target checkout bags, cutlery, stir sticks, straws, ring carriers and foodservice ware made from expanded polystyrene, PVC, oxo-degradable plastic or black plastic made with carbon black. The Federal Court of Appeal confirmed on January 30, 2026 that these rules remain in force, so for Canada specify lids that avoid those materials.
For US food-contact documentation, request the factory's FDA food-contact compliance letter with your quote. EU-bound stock can carry the EU single-use plastics marking; it is not a US or Canadian requirement.
Custom printed paper cups and private label
Direct Eco Green prints your logo and brand colors at the factory in 1 to 5 colors with food-contact compliant inks, on bright white or natural brown kraft board. You receive a digital proof to approve before mass production. Pair the cups with plastic-free GreenCup cups for a PE-free line, or with custom printed napkins in one consolidated shipment.
Why buy paper cups factory-direct from Direct Eco Green
Direct Eco Green is a manufacturer and sourcing partner, not a distributor: we produce through audited partner factories in Asia and Europe, run quality control on site from Ho Chi Minh City, and consolidate several product lines into one shipment. For high-volume buyers of paper cups, that means a lower total cost of ownership than re-sold stock, packaging built to your specification, and one contact from artwork to delivery.

Frequently asked questions
What is the minimum order for custom paper cups?
The minimum order for Direct Eco Green paper cups is 10,000 pieces per size. Custom printing in 1 to 5 colors is available from that quantity, on white or kraft board.
What is the difference between single-wall and double-wall paper cups?
Single-wall paper cups are lighter and more economical, and suit cold drinks or hot drinks with a sleeve. Double-wall paper cups have an insulating air layer between two boards, so very hot drinks can be served without a separate sleeve.
Are Direct Eco Green paper cups PFAS-free?
The liquid barrier on these paper cups is a PE coating, not a fluorinated treatment. Ask for the factory's PFAS declaration with your quote to document compliance with state PFAS laws such as those in New York, California and Washington.
Can PE-coated paper cups be recycled?
PE-coated paper cups are accepted in some recycling programs, but not everywhere. Check with your local program before printing a recyclable claim, because California SB 343 and the FTC Green Guides require claims to match what facilities accept.
Do you supply lids for the paper cups?
Yes. Direct Eco Green supplies leak-resistant lids in recyclable plastic or bio-based fiber that fit the paper cup diameters, including 80 mm and 90 mm. Lids can be added to the same quote and shipment.
