Bagasse cups, sauce pots and cup holders for take-out
Direct Eco Green offers three complementary items for drinks and sides: bagasse cups, bagasse sauce pots and molded pulp cup holders. Together they cover a take-out order from the drink to the dip.
- Bagasse cups — for hot and cold drinks, with or without a lid. The cups withstand temperatures up to 100°C (212°F) and can go in the microwave.
- Bagasse sauce pots — 120 ml pots with a fitted lid that hold even greasy sauces without spilling; they match our bagasse plates and trays.
- Paper-pulp cup holders — two- or four-cup carriers that hold full cups steady during pickup and delivery.

Materials, PFAS and end of life
Bagasse is the fibrous residue left after sugarcane is crushed to extract its juice; instead of being burned, the cellulose is recovered and molded into food-contact cups and pots. The bagasse Direct Eco Green uses is natural fiber, without pesticides or toxic additives, and the cup holders are made from molded paper pulp.
- Bagasse cups and pots are made from renewable sugarcane fiber and are commercially compostable where industrial composting facilities accept them; access varies by city.
- Molded pulp cup holders are recyclable where paper collection accepts molded fiber, and compostable where facilities accept it.
- If a lid is made of a different material, it should be separated before disposal.
The grease and moisture resistance comes from the molded fiber itself, not from fluorinated treatments; ask for the factory's PFAS declaration with your quote.
Compliance for the US and Canada
State PFAS laws ban intentionally added PFAS in food packaging in New York, California, Washington, Vermont, Colorado, Connecticut, Maryland, Minnesota, Rhode Island and Hawaii, and in February 2024 the FDA announced that PFAS grease-proofing substances are no longer sold for US food-contact use. To claim "compostable", buyers will expect certification to ASTM D6400 or ASTM D6868 through BPI, or CAN/BNQ 0017-088 in Canada; tell us which one your market requires and we confirm, before you order, which factory reference can document it. In Canada, fiber cups and containers are outside the Single-use Plastics Prohibition Regulations. Follow the FTC Green Guides and avoid unqualified degradability claims.
Custom sizes and private label
Direct Eco Green develops custom sizes and private label packing for cafés, chains and catering brands. Combine cups and pots with bagasse plates and trays with PET lids or bagasse bowls and containers in a single shipment. Samples are available before mass production so you can test heat resistance and lid fit.
Why buy bagasse cups factory-direct from Direct Eco Green
Direct Eco Green is a manufacturer and sourcing partner, not a distributor: we work with audited partner factories in Asia and Europe, run on-site quality control in Vietnam and consolidate cups, pots and tableware into one shipment. For high-volume food-service buyers, that means a lower total cost of ownership and packaging made to your specification.
