Burger and hot dog boxes for fast food, delivery and events
Direct Eco Green produces two kraft take-out formats: a clamshell burger box and an extended hot dog box. Both are single-use, food-contact grade and built for on-site eating, counter take-out and delivery.
- Kraft burger box — a hinged clamshell that holds a burger, a sandwich or a burger-and-sides combo. Available from roughly 102 to 191 mm (4.0 to 7.5 in).
- Kraft hot dog box — an elongated box for hot dogs, sausages in a bun, wraps and kebab rolls, from roughly 115 to 220 mm (4.5 to 8.7 in).
The kraft board is selected for tear resistance and for holding up to sauces, oil and condensation during the trip from kitchen to customer. Per the factory specification, the boxes can also go in the refrigerator and the microwave for reheating.

Materials, grease resistance and end of life
Kraft corrugated board is a paper-based material, so these boxes avoid the expanded polystyrene clamshells that many cities and Canada have moved away from. How you describe their end of life should still be precise.
- Grease barrier: specify a PFAS-free construction when you request your quote. The grease resistance should come from the board itself, a film or an aqueous coating, not from fluorinated treatments; ask for the factory's PFAS declaration with your quote.
- Recycling: plain kraft board is recyclable where facilities exist, but many programs reject food-soiled boxes. Say so on pack rather than printing an unqualified "recyclable".
- Composting: only claim "compostable" if the exact reference is certified for your market (see below).
Paper grades can be supplied FSC-certified under Direct Eco Green's license FSC C204557 (FSC Mix or FSC Recycled labels).
Compliance for the US and Canada
Direct Eco Green helps you document the points US and Canadian buyers check on food packaging. Intentionally added PFAS are banned in food packaging by state PFAS laws in New York, California, Washington, Vermont, Colorado, Connecticut, Maryland, Minnesota, Rhode Island and Hawaii, and in February 2024 the FDA announced that PFAS grease-proofing substances are no longer sold for food-contact use in the US.
In Canada, paper-based burger boxes sit outside the Single-use Plastics Prohibition Regulations, which target foodservice ware made from expanded polystyrene, PVC, oxo-degradable plastic and carbon-black plastic; the Federal Court of Appeal confirmed on January 30, 2026 that these rules remain in force. For a "compostable" claim, buyers expect certification to ASTM D6868 (typically through BPI) or CAN/BNQ 0017-088 in Canada. Tell us which certification your market requires and we confirm, before you order, which factory reference can document it. Recyclable claims must follow the FTC Green Guides and, in California, SB 343.
Custom printed burger boxes and private label
Your logo and brand color are printed at the factory on the kraft board, so you receive finished, custom printed boxes ready for the line. You can adjust the size to your bun and portion, and combine burger boxes with matching fry boxes and wrap holders or kraft carry-out bags in the same shipment. Samples are available before mass production.
Why buy burger boxes factory-direct from Direct Eco Green
Direct Eco Green is a manufacturer and sourcing partner, not a distributor: we produce through audited partner factories in Asia and Europe and run quality control on site from Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. Importing from Vietnam or Asia through us means one contact, consolidated shipments across several product lines and a lower total cost of ownership on high-volume orders than re-sold wholesale stock.

Frequently asked questions
What sizes are available for kraft burger and hot dog boxes?
Direct Eco Green kraft burger boxes range from about 102 to 191 mm (4.0 to 7.5 in), and hot dog boxes from about 115 to 220 mm (4.5 to 8.7 in). Custom sizes are produced on request if your bun or portion needs a different fit.
Are the kraft burger boxes PFAS-free?
Direct Eco Green specifies burger and hot dog boxes without fluorinated grease-proofing, with the barrier coming from the board, a film or an aqueous coating. Ask for the factory's PFAS declaration with your quote to document compliance with state PFAS laws.
Can the burger boxes go in the microwave?
According to the factory specification, the kraft burger and hot dog boxes are microwave-safe and refrigerator-safe for reheating and storing food. Confirm the exact reference and any coating in your quote if microwave use is part of your service.
Are kraft burger boxes recyclable?
Plain kraft burger boxes are recyclable where facilities exist, but many programs do not accept food-soiled paper. Under the FTC Green Guides and California SB 343, a recyclable claim on the box should be qualified to match what local programs accept.
What is the minimum order for custom printed burger boxes?
The MOQ for Direct Eco Green burger and hot dog boxes depends on material, size and printing, and it is stated in your quote. Send your target volumes and artwork to receive a tailored quote within 48 hours.
