Durability, materials and end of life

Be precise about end of life:
- An unlaminated rPET bag is a single-polymer polyester product; textile and PET recycling options exist in some areas, but they are not available everywhere, so check locally before printing a "recyclable" claim.
- A BOPP-laminated rPET bag combines two plastics, which adds strength but makes recycling harder.
- rPET bags are not compostable.
Compliance and environmental claims in the US and Canada
The safest claim for an rPET bag is the factual one: "made from recycled PET." Under the FTC Green Guides, any recycled-content percentage you print must be substantiated; if you need a documented percentage or a recycled-content certification such as GRS, this is checked with the factory before ordering.
