PP bowls and plates for intensive daily use

Reusable PP bowls and plates are designed for places where tableware is used hard and sometimes dropped. Direct Eco Green supplies them as an alternative to disposable plates and bowls for professional and home use.

  • Festivals, picnics and outdoor events — resistance to breakage is the key advantage over ceramic and glass.
  • Canteens, campsites and holiday parks — light to carry and stack, robust in daily washing.
  • Retail and private label — colorful reusable dinnerware sets for outdoor dining.

Because the plates and bowls are lightweight, they are easy to handle in large quantities and inexpensive to ship compared with heavier materials.

Materials, safety and end of life

Direct Eco Green PP bowls and plates are made from a durable polypropylene with no BPA or other harmful substances, in line with food-safety requirements.

  • Reusable first — the main benefit of PP tableware is the number of single-use items each one replaces over its service life.
  • Recyclable where facilities exist — polypropylene (resin code 5) is accepted in some US and Canadian recycling programs but not all; check locally before printing a recycling message.
  • Not compostable — never describe PP as compostable or biodegradable.
  • California SB 343 restricts the chasing-arrows symbol and "recyclable" claims to materials that meet state recyclability criteria, and the FTC Green Guides require qualified claims everywhere in the US.

Confirm the dishwasher and microwave limits of each reference with your quote so the care instructions you print are accurate.

Compliance for the US and Canada

Request the factory's FDA food-contact compliance letter (21 CFR Part 177 covers polymers such as polypropylene and PET) with your quote — it documents food-contact safe material for your file and is not an FDA approval. In Canada, the Single-use Plastics Prohibition Regulations (SOR/2022-138), upheld by the Federal Court of Appeal on January 30, 2026, target single-use foodservice ware made from expanded polystyrene, PVC, oxo-degradable plastic and black plastic made with carbon black. PP bowls and plates designed and marketed for repeated use are outside that target; if you order black items, specify a pigment other than carbon black. Keep claims factual under the FTC Green Guides: "reusable" and "BPA-free" can be documented, unqualified green claims cannot.

Custom colors and private label

Direct Eco Green produces PP bowls and plates in standard colors or in your brand colors, with your logo, for venues, event organizers and private-label retail sets. Custom diameters can be developed. Complete the set with reusable PP cups and reusable PP cutlery in one consolidated shipment.

Why buy PP tableware factory-direct from Direct Eco Green

Direct Eco Green is a manufacturer and sourcing partner, not a distributor: it produces PP bowls and plates through selected and audited partner factories in Asia and Europe, runs quality control on site from its base in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, and consolidates several product lines into one shipment. For high-volume and wholesale buyers this means a lower total cost of ownership than re-sold stock, products built to your specification, and one contact from artwork to delivery.

  1. Pick the references in the catalog.
  2. Send your quantities, sizes, colors and artwork.
  3. Receive a tailored quote within 48 hours.
  4. Validate, approve the design, then production, shipping and delivery.

Frequently asked questions

Which sizes of reusable PP bowls and plates are available?

Reusable PP bowls and plates are available in 135, 150, 160, 180 and 230 mm diameters, plus custom sizes on request. The quote confirms which sizes are bowls, plates or both, with depth and capacity.

Are reusable PP plates break-resistant?

Yes. Reusable PP plates are robust and resist impacts and breakage, which makes them well suited to festivals, picnics, campsites and canteens where ceramic would break.

Are the PP bowls and plates BPA-free?

Yes. The PP bowls and plates contain no BPA or other harmful substances and meet food-safety requirements. Direct Eco Green can request the factory's FDA food-contact compliance letter with your quote.

Can I order PP bowls and plates in my brand colors?

Yes. PP bowls and plates can be produced in custom colors with your logo for venues, events and private-label sets. The MOQ depends on size, color and printing and is stated in your quote.

What is the difference between PP and melamine plates?

PP plates are lighter, break-resistant and recyclable where facilities accept polypropylene. Melamine plates are heavier and closer to porcelain in look, but are not recyclable in most programs and are not for microwave use.
