Storage conditions (factory guidance): 7°C to 30°C (45°F to 86°F), 20% to 70% relative humidity, away from direct sunlight, in a cool, dry place. Shelf life: up to 12 to 24 months. Because the film reacts to water, storage matters more than for conventional poly bags. Film thickness is specified in your quote. Materials and end of life, stated honestly
Direct Eco Green PVA bags are designed to dissolve in water, which is their main difference from PE bags; what happens next depends on where they end up. The factory reports testing to ASTM D5511 (biodegradation under anaerobic, landfill-type conditions), plant-toxicity testing to OECD 208 and an EEQ test; ask for the full reports with your quote.
- Dissolving is not the same as composting: only claim "compostable" for a reference certified for your market.
- Inks: the factory uses inks without heavy metals or benzene.
- Disposal of pet waste: follow local rules for dog waste; do not advise customers to flush bags unless local wastewater guidance allows it.
